My fiance’s grandfather is a baptist preacher. We want him to perform our marriage but were thinking about getting married at a methodist church. Is that possible?

Yes they can but generaly wont in another church.
I am Methodist and it would not be a problem at my church. I guess it depends on the church but I would think most churches would be fine with it.
If the owners of the church building is cool with it, and if he’s cool with performing the wedding there, then it’s possible. No laws against it.
Well, if you are renting the space then I’m thinking you can have your own Preacher. My brother’s funeral was in a United church, but it was our Unitarian Minister that ran the show. Churches are businesses, they need money from marriages, etc to keep the place running. If they were a stickler about ministers, then not a lot of people would rent the space.
