This madness is the very reason why most sinners won’t be saved. Some of you care more about your denominational leaders than you do about Jesus himself. These people may have started denominations or what have you but THEY ARE NOT GOD! There is no salvation in Bishop C.H. Mason’s name and no other name other than Jesus. I took a piece of paper one day and wrote CHRIST on it and showed to everyone, I took that same piece of paper and wrote over it baptist, cogic, methodist, apostolic, etc. After I did that you could not see the word Christ as clear as you could at first. I did it to prove that we push and promote all of our doctrinal and denominational beliefs so much that people can’t even see Christ anymore. People let’s stop fighting each other over petty mess!
Was Bishop Mason preaching from John 14:26 “But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”. ???

Mason’s own testimony of how he started The COGIC is in direct violation of Hebrews 1:1&2…God didnt tell him to name a new church in the late 1800’s. God said long before CHMason was born that their will only be ONE CHURCH. (Ephesians 4-6, Colossians 1:18)

@richgod902 … Galations is talking about RACE (Jew and Gentile) , SOCIAL STATUS (Slave or Free), and SEX (Male or female) being ONE in Christ. This verse is not talking about the ROLES or QUALIFICATIONS of a minister, elder, man or woman in church. Go back to Galations 3:26 to see what the rest of the verses are talking about. “26 So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith” did you see any roles, church titles, or qualifications here?

I just took note of all the Doctrinal chatter concerning Bishop C.H. Mason and the Church of God in Christ. Time nor space will not allow clarification of this great man that the Lord used in a manner to further the gospel of truth. There is no argument to be given, neither a defense to be offered, remember, the mind of a closed man cannot and will not accept truth. Now, with regard to Woman Pastors, there’s “no” biblical foundation for such, and it has nothing to do with women not being used.
how can a person be holy if they are in a church/body created by C.H.Mason? a person cant take Romans 16:16 out of context. what did you take from it? why did you add “under their husbands” the bible has a period after the statement women should be silent in church. Did you add that to make your belief. women can assist in many ways, just not speaking in a worship service. Find a woman preaching in a worship in the bible and post it here please.

“Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.” you’re taking 1 Corinthians 14:34 and Romans 16:16, out of context. 1 Corinthians 14:34 is talking about married women being silent in church under their husbands. God can use WOMEN, just like he can use MEN! Why do you think we have 1st Ladies, Mothers, Evangs, Miss., and Mins.! To teach and instruct young women in the Gospel!
The sad part about all this is that COGIC know that their founder is not Christ, and that C.H. Mason was walking down the streets of Little Rock, Arkansas when he said he had a vision. Well The Bible is clear. Hebrews 1:1, John 1:1,14-16… The BIBLE is right.

Im not trying to start a fuss, but you are wrong. If you are going to make claims, please post BOOK, CHAPTER, and VERSE that backs up everything you just said. The Bible says women should remain silent (1 Corinthians 14:34) The Bible says we are called Christians (Acts 11:26) not Apostolic. The Bible calls the church founded by Jesus the Church of Christ (Romans 16:16).

Lol wow. I just wanna say there is NO confusion in God’s word! Confusion comes when man takes it out of context and make something up!! As far as me and my church believe, we baptize in Jesus Name and we have women preachers! Because God can use WOMEN just like he does MEN!
