		<description>If you are referring to an Evangelical Covenant Church, they tend to be charismatic, almost bent toward pentecostalism.

They are theologically and politically conservative like most Baptists and are evangelical (beleive in proseltyzing) in nature like the Methodists and Baptists, but are more likely to beleive in faith healing, speaking in tongues and othher as they call &quot;outward&quot; spiritual gifts.

It would probably not be your best fit coming from the more conservative worship style of the churches you have experienced, but it doesn&#039;t hurt to visit and see.  It would not be for me, but as an Episcopalain, I have never been comfortable in any evangelical style church.

You will find less conservative political activism than you might tend to find in a Baptist church and that is a plus.</description>
