Confronting The Westboro Baptist Church In Christ Alone – First Baptist Church of Orlando
May 212010

What happens when you have a Baptist, some Jews, a couple Catholics and a Mormon in an area together. This is a specific example on why the Baptist faith is diminishing rapidly. The message here seems to be a common theme amongst the Baptists. It is time for that to change. Hopefully the damage done can be reversed. Watch this video in HD

    yeah, why don’t Baptists talk about their own faith? Are they embarrassed?

    @buikradaob

    Mormons are the ENSIGN of Christianity. That bothers you. But you need to STOP fighting against God.

    @teriiura That’s not his point guy….. His point is that Baptists are “trained” to be this way. They are trained to attack faith rather than simply proclaim their own. Go into nearly any Baptist Church and in their foyers you will see “tracts” on whatever is “wrong” about other religions. Not to mention their classes on such, their preaching from the pulpit etc. Such is most common among Evangelical religions such as the Baptists, Lutherans, etc.

    I would have been fine with the Baptist man talking about his faith. However, he was unable to do so, because it appears Baptists do not teach and know their own faith.

    The training was the last of three such meetings Brother Beck directed with the assistance of his counselors, Larry M. Gibson and Adrian Ochoa. Earlier training sessions were held in the Alpine (Utah) Tabernacle, and the Bountiful (Utah) Regional Center.

  11. omiolo says:

    The world has low expectations of today’s young men — but the Aaronic Priesthood inspires boys to do great things. Even more, “they have a duty to do great things,” said Young Men General President David L. Beck during an April 1 leadership training session in the Salt Lake Tabernacle.

    March in 1820 came in like a lion. During the first two weeks of March there were five snow days for a total accumulation of 23 inches. During these two weeks there were only three of forty-two temperature readings above freezing. It seems appropriate to exclude the first half of March from any consideration for the First Vision.

    having left both mormonism (born into it i was) and christianity, i find it funny that people spend too much time trying to prove they are right and everyone else is wrong. to me, neither belief is truly worth fighting over as both are only true as long as you believe it. why don’t you people just live your religion and not worry about anyone else? i heard a story of a man who stepped in crap and got so mad he spent the rest of his life trying to get people to do the same. this sounds familiar.

    One example of faith in action today in Gig Harbor is shown by the 70 or so high-school-age teens who rise at 5 a.m. to attend religious studies at the church at 6 every school day morning except Wednesdays, even in the dark of winter.

    Are you troubled like I am that this man would break solemn promises, abandon the commandments of God, and then condemn a family member to death for committing a sin that he himself had also committed? Unstable as water indeed!

  25. omiolo says:

    As if the transgression itself were not enough, Judah then compounded his infamy by ordering his daughter in law burned to death when he learned that she was pregnant out of wedlock! Only the fact that she produced Judah’s signet, bracelets, and staff, proving that he was the father of the unborn child, saved her life.
